First "Medical Camp" a Success as hundreds arrive for treatment at local "clinic"

| The first of several "medical camps" where the poor are being treated without charge utilizing medicines provided through the Immanuel Deaf Churches of Kenya |
Josephat Mulongo tells us that rural hospitals and clincs from all over Kenya have been coming to this central location to pick up allotments of medicines and that more of these medical camps will be operated throughout the region.
The medicines were originally stocked at the Mars Hospital in Kiserian, which has become the distribution point as well as the site of the first medical camp. The Mars hospital is adjacent to the Immanuel Deaf Church, which is the managing organization for the medicines. The needs among the Deaf in Kenya are enormous. Charitable donations are off to their sponsoring organization by almost 60%; largely due to massive natural disasters in Japan and the U.S. We are endeavoring to raise covering for the deficit in support through our own efforts here in the U.S. You can donate by sending a check or via PayPal or Credit Card.
